Rin, 46, is married and resides with her husband and five children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has been raising pigs to sell for over two years, earning approximately 3 USD per day. Her husband is a fisherman who also earns about 3 USD per day. Four of her children are employed in a garment factory and earn approximately 12 USD per day.
In order to improve her family's livelihood, Rin is requesting a loan of 1,200 USD to pay for her son’s passport fee so that he can find a job in Thailand. With a passport, her son would be able to find a job legally in Thailand and generate more income for the family.
In the future, Rin would like to expand her business, rebuild her present house to make it much stronger, and provide better living conditions for her family.
