Mong sells used clothes from a rented booth near a local market in Baray district, Kompong Tom province. She is 63 and a single mother of eight children, six of whom are already married. In parallel, two of her daughters are in the same business as her in different marketplaces to help uplift this family out of poverty.
With the amount she has requested from HKL, she will purchase a stock of used clothes to further improve her current business. Without any other help, Mong’s family will meet difficulties in living. She is very thankful for the quick response from our lenders.
