Mujeres Guapisimas Group's story

'Mujeres Guapisimas' (Pretty Women) are from the city of Vila Elisa. This group is made up of 15 women who came together in the hope of helping each other through their joint work. They are hard-working and entrepreneurial women who always work as hard as to they can to provide their families with their daily bread.

Alexandra is one of the members of this group. She says that her business is selling a variety of jewelry. This business has enabled her to help her family to continue growing. She says that many of her neighbors are customers who buy from her and they help her to continue expanding her customer base. Her goal is to some day own a jewelry store where she can sell her products.

Alexandra is requesting this loan to buy silver jewelry to stock her business. This will enable her to meet her customer demand. She is grateful to Fundación Paraguaya and Kiva for the opportunity she is receiving.

In this group: Karina Raquel, Yolanda, Monica, Marta, Crescencia, Veronica, Estela, Amanda, Juana, Zunilda, Olga, Basiliza, Claudia, Petrona, Alexandra
