A loan of $1,550 helped a member to buy products to stock her store.

Santa Catalina Group's story

This committee is called 'Santa Catalina' owing to the fact that there is a chapel nearby. The group's members have pledged to keep their group united and work together within a framework of mutual responsibility. They are currently in their ninth loan cycle with an average rating. The group is made up of ten women who invest their loans in their respective business activities.

Manuela is one of the members of this group. She has a well-stocked grocery store where she provides goods to most of her neighbors and people in neighboring areas. She says that her business is doing very well because it is always very well stocked. For this reason, she has a very good customer base which helps her to keep her business running.

Manuela is requesting this loan to buy dairy products, drinks, baked goods, sugar, noodles and other supplies she needs to stock her business.
