A loan of $275 helped to buy sewing supplies.

Celia's story

Celia, 38, is a good, kind woman who lives with her common-law husband, James, 38, and their six children, Bany, 17, Bryan, 15, Cristian, 10, James, 6, Denise, 4, and the youngest, Alexis, 2. They live in their own house where they provide the best education and lifestyle they can for their children. Celia is a seamstress and has a small workshop in her house. She creates her own fashions and works on an order basis. For ten years she has been working in this activity and has learned a lot about the business, especially about good customer service and quality. She enjoys what she does since it keeps her busy while being able to establish her own schedule. She has many customers because of the good work she does.

When she began it was little complicated because, even though she had always worked as seamstress it was for somebody else and she did not know how to run her own business. But little by little she learned and now is a great professional in this sector. She wants to expand for her family's well being and economy. This is her fourth loan through MFP and she is happying knowing she can count on your support. This way she knows her business will progress. She is very committed to paying back the loan on time as she has done with previous loans. She enjoys her communal bank because all the members are responsible and get along well. She plans to use the 700 PEN loan to buy supplies and some tools so she can carry out her sewing work more quickly and give her fashions a more professional finish.
