Lidia's story

Lidia, 28, is a friendly and responsible woman. She lives with her partner Hector, 35, with whom she has a daughter of 7 months. They live in their own home and work hard to be able to provide a good quality of life to their small daughter.

Lidia’s work is selling drinks. Every three days a truck passes by her house selling soda and mineral water. Lidia takes advantage of this and purchases some packages of drinks to stock her shelves. She also purchases beer that she sells only to adults. Like any woman fighter, she is always on the lookout for new business opportunities. Now she also sells household gas. She has done this work for 2 consecutive years and is really proud to say that she started the business with the support of MFP, who helped her with the initial start-up capital. She really likes what she does, especially since it allows her time to be at her daughter’s side. In addition, it is another source of income, alongside that of her partner’s, to sustain the family. She hopes to keep growing, and in the future, have a distributor of drinks.

This will be her 4th loan with MFP. She is pleased to know that she will receive financial support to continue in her work and be able to improve her capital. In addition, she commits once again to making her loan payments, just as she did with her previous loans. She says that she feels very comfortable with her communal bank because her companions are responsible and united. With the requested amount of 2500 Nuevos Soles (PEN), she will purchase drinks to have in stock because she wants to have a greater amount and variety of drinks and better presentation to offer her customers.
