A loan of $1,350 helped a member to purchase cell phones.

Adonai Group's story

The "Adonai" communal bank will start its first cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Senkata Center. It is composed of seven members, and it is directed by a board headed by Valeria. The members of the communal bank have various businesses. Among them we have: cell phone accessory sales, neighborhood store, knitting sweaters, dressmaking workshop, construction contractor, and selling milk.

Valeria indicates that this is the second cycle she has worked with Pro Mujer, joining by invitation from a representative. Currently, she has a business selling cell phones. She has been doing this work for years.

The loan that she will now receive is to increase her capital (purchase of cell phones), which she will buy in the city of El Alto and later sell at her stand. This form of work allows her to generate resources in order to support her family as much as possible, since she is married and has a son.

When she is asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she responds that she likes the attention and the savings.

In this group: Valeria, Santa Lucia, Cristina, Clara , Norah , Beatriz, Eulalia
