Hawa

Senegal
Senegal / Retail

A loan of $425 helped to buy groceries: drinks, water and other products for resale (also sale of coffee).

Hawa's story

Hawa is a 44-year old woman who has been actively trading for four years. She is divorced but lives with her children. Her business is selling groceries: in fact she manages a shop where she also sells coffee. She has already had two loans and this third loan will enable her to boost her stock further.

Although she is divorced she takes care of her family's daily expenses. Hawa is relying heavily on the savings bank to diversify her business and increase her stock of goods.
