A loan of $2,325 helped a member to buy fresh seasonal vegetables for a vegetable-selling business.

Mukhtaran's Group's story

Mukhtaran has requested a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for her husband’s vegetable-selling business. With the loan investment, he will buy fresh seasonal vegetables which will allow him to sell better quality fresh vegetables to his customers and increase his sales and profits.

Mukhtaran is a seamstress, and sews clothes for clients from her community to make profit. She has got great sewing skills and receives regular orders from her clients due to her good quality work. She has given birth to a son and a daughter. Her son is a scrap dealer while her daughter stays at home.

Mukhtaran is very confident that her husband’s business will grow by making a loan investment and that this will allow her family to live better financial life.
