Felipa's story

Felipa was born in the city of Pisaq (in Peru), and is 55 years old. She is married, and has five children from this wonderful relationship. She currently lives in her native city, which is also where she works. She works selling confectionery from a kiosk in the Tambohuaso community school. She has been working in this business for 25 years, and it is going very well for her thanks to the determination she brings to her work.

Felipa is requesting the loan to purchase merchandise, for example confectionery, cookies, pastries, cakes, and other additional items.

The “Mosoq Ñusta” community bank meets monthly in the district of Pisaq in Calca province (in Cusco, Peru). Cusco is known for being an area with much tourism and commerce, for its traditional Inti Raymi festival, and because it is the location of Machu Picchu, one of the seven wonders of the world.
