Ana Rosa's story

The San Pedro Communal Bank meets every fortnight in the neighborhood by the same name located in Manta, a town renowned for her beautiful beaches, visited all over the year, and for being a city of unparalleled beauty with many tourist attractions. Her we meet Ana. She is 56, she is divorced and she has four adult children; the youngest is still living with her. She is a very tenacious woman who has always provided for her children, never leaving the, in need. She has been a retailer for many years: she runs a shop located in the city center where she sells every kind of spare parts and accessories for vehicles. In her shop her customers can find anything they need, form tyres to electrical spare parts to ornaments and more. She works Mondays to Saturdays with the help of two of her children. They purchase spare parts from suppliers who bring them directly to her shop. She has been engaged in this activity for more than 25 years and she has many customers. The loan she is requesting will be uses to buy spare parts for vehicles. She has been a member for the Communal Bank for 5 years and she likes it because the interest rate is very low. She dreams of owning another shop in another neighborhood.
