A loan of $2,475 helped to invest in buying furniture for her business.

Sonia's story

Sonia is requesting a loan from us to invest in her small business selling 'tacos de guisados'. This business makes her enough profits to support her two children as she is a single mother. Sonia is from Nuevo León but she has lived in Nuevo Laredo for more than twelve years. This is where she has had to support her children by looking at different ways she could make money without neglecting her family. She decided to start working in commerce. She began selling tacos in the streets from her car and was gradually able to buy a stall and set up her taco business there.

Sonia is requesting this loan to invest in buying furniture for her business (tables and chairs) so that her customers will be more comfortable when they are eating her rich and delicious tacos.
