Sidaty Aïdara Group's story

The solidarity group Sidaty Aïdara has been in existence since July 7, 2011. It comprises eight women who have lived in the same district for years and who are united by ties of solidarity and kinship. Their main work involves fattening livestock and small-scale commerce.

Ms. Kheule, the group's official, is 41 years old, married, and the mother of four children. She runs a small business selling vegetables and, at the same time, fattens livestock. She has ten years of good experience in these two sectors. In the photos, Ms. Kheule is the one standing at the right in a green dressed with her left hand raised. Her beautiful smile lights up her face.

She gets her supplies of vegetables (tomatoes, carrots, turnips, onions...) and sheep at the central market in their rural community, and she resells them locally and in her district.

Ms. Kheule plans on buying some sheep and vegetables to bolster her business.

She helps her husband to cover family expenses.

In this group: Kheule, Marame, Meyam, Khady Boubou, Keka, Ndeye Bara, Khoudia, Ndoumbe
