The Solidarity Group Sop Sérigne Fallo was established on December 28, 2010. It is made up of 17 women who live in the same neighborhood and are involved in the same business.

Fatou (standing to the right of the photo, raising her hand) is in change of the group. She is 55 years old. She is married and has two children.

She has created a commercial business selling groundnuts, black-eyes peas, and bissap, (a drink made from hibiscus flowers). She also makes and sells groundnut oil.

With this loan, she intends to purchase groundnuts, black-eyed peas, and bissap for resale.

With the profits earned, she intends to improve her living conditions and those of her children.
