A loan of $600 helped to perform vehicle maintenance.

Rosa's story

Rosa weaves blankets for the women who wear traditional skirts. She starts work at 7:00 a.m. and she finishes at approximately 8:00 p.m. She does this work at the house that she rents. She has a house that is under construction, and when it is finished she will live there.

Her husband is a taxi driver with his own vehicle. He works every day in order to bring income home and give it to Rosa. They have two school-age children.

Rosa’s dream is to live in her own house and that her children will one day become professionals of whom she will be very proud.

She will use the loan for maintenance on her husband’s vehicle. It is having some problems, and this does not allow Rosa to take the blankets that she weaves to her different customers.

Rosa is a very hard-working person. She is happy and very grateful to the institution for the support that has been given to her.
