Mukuba North A Group's story

The group leader of this small group is Hanifah N.. She is currently in the business of clothing sales and is requesting a loan to boost business. Hanifah is 48 years old and is a widow. She has 4 children ranging from age 13 to 25 and her children go to school. Each week, Hanifah makes approximately UGX 20000 in profits and with the extra profits from her loan, she hopes to be able to pay the school fees for her children. Hanifah has taken a loan from BRAC Uganda before in the amount of UGX 200000 in order to invest in her business and the loan was paid back on time.

Hanifah is joined in her small group by Jane A., Farida N., Rosemary A., and Haziza N.. Jane A. has a business in charcoal sales and wants to expand to bulk selling. Farida N. is currently operating a business buying and selling produce and wants a loan to add more capital. Rosemary A. operates a retail shop business and wants to add more stock.
