Santa Clara Group's story

This committee is called 'Santa Clara' and its 20 members are in their 12th loan cycle. This is a group whose members stand out in their neighborhood as being very united, supportive and responsible. They work as a team and they all have a great entrepreneurial spirit. They carry out different activities to raise funds for the group such as 'polladas' (a social event often used as a way of raising funds where people come together to dance and eat - mainly chicken) and raffles.

Fátima is one of the members of this group. She is a very hard-working and tenacious woman whose business is selling cosmetics. She has been in this business for some time and has been able to form a good customer base. This has enabled her to do well and help her family.

Fátima is requesting a loan to buy cosmetics so that she can fill some of the many orders that she has. All of the women are very happy to receive Fundación Paraguaya's help as it enables them to support their families and children.
