Ngteer Group's story

This solidarity group was created on March 24 2001. It consists of 16 women who live in the same neighborhood. Their main activity is retail sales.

Mrs. Pauline is the head of the group. She is standing on the right in the photo, with her hand raised. She is 37 years old and married with five children. She also takes care of another child entrusted to her by relatives.

Pauline sells vegetables. She has a lot of experience in this business, which she has been practicing for several years.

This loan will enable her to strengthen her working capital and better expand her activities. She will use the profits to improve her family’s living conditions (healthcare, food, clothing, etc.) and to bolster her savings.
