Lucina Tacubaya Group's story

This group is called Lucina Tacubaya. It consists of four people who are hard-working, happy, and humble, and want to aim ever higher and improve their businesses to offer benefits to their community, since they want to grow as retailers.

One of the members of the group is Señora Lucina, a woman who is 69 years old. She tells us that she is known as a hard-working and humble woman who wants to improve her grocery store so that her fellow citizens can find what they need and don't have to travel to do their weekly shopping. Furthermore, she gives credit to people since they sometimes don't bring enough money, and she gives them the products and later they come by to pay her.

She is applying for the loan to buy more merchandise to sell, such as crackers, soft drinks, mayonnaise, chilies. onions, beans, rice, oil, lard, soups, soap, powdered detergent, Suavitel (fabric softener), bread, milk, coffee, sugar, cheeses, and eggs.

The other members of the group are: Maria, who sells groceries; Jaime, who sells mechanical tools, and Briseida, who sells bread. They give thanks to the foundation for helping the people of impoverished towns so that they can grow as businesspeople.

In this group: Lucina, Maria, Jaime, Briseida
