Ganbat's story

Ganbat is a 50-year-old married man who lives with his wife and daughter in an outer ger district, which lacks basic infrastructure, of Ulaanbaatar city, Mongolia.

His daughter, Dariimaa, has been working as a head of “Scholarship Education” training center since 2008. Her training center’s mission is to create opportunities and to place students on scholarship programs. The center also manages foreign language training.

Previously, a Kiva loan was requested by Dariimaa , but now her father, Ganbat, wants to support to his daughter’s business in order to republish her book's third edition again. So Ganbat is requesting 2,500,000 Mongolian Turgriks (MNT) to publish his daughter book about scholarship programs for teenagers. Currently they rent an office building. Furthermore, they want to improve Ganbat’s daughter’s business and to own just their office room.
