Phat, 34, is married and resides with his wife and one child in Takeo Province, Cambodia. He has been working as a construction worker for over three years, earning approximately USD 4 per day. His wife is a garment worker who can earn approximately USD 3 per day. Due to earning less income, Phat is requesting a loan of USD 1200 to purchase a motorbike to use as a motor taxi, when he is free from his construction work, to generate more income to support the family.
In the future, Phat plans to rebuild his present house to make it much stronger to provide comfortable living conditions for the family and support his child to study until he/she gets a Bachelor's degree.
