A loan of $1,200 helped to purchase cattle to fatten them up.

Sabina Olga's story

Sabina is 48 years old and lives in Sindicato Alto San Pablo, located in the Carrasco province at some ten kilometres from the municipality of Chimore in Cochabamba. She is married to Benjamin and they have three children.

Sabina works selling groceries while her husband works raising and fattening up cattle. About twenty years ago Sabina lived in Sora Sora Oruro, but she had to move to Sindicato Alto San Pablo because Sora Sora is extremely poor and she wasn't making enough money to raise her children. She left all her belongings in search of a better quality of life and with the support of her husband and through a lot of work they were able to fulfil this dream. They have a small house and agricultural land with which they are able to feed their cattle.

The loan that Sabina is applying for will be used to purchase cattle which will increase her current livestock and create more profits.

Sabina dreams of a better future for her children. She hopes that they might be able to study a degree to have a better quality of life, since she was not able to finish high school or go to university.
