Paula es una persona que se ha caracterizado por tener muy buenas habilidades comerciales y siempre buscar que su negocio este creciendo. Paula se dedica desde hace aproximadamente 6 años a la elaboración de artículos en cuero como son billeteras, bolsos, carteras entre otros, y gracias a esto genera los ingresos necesarios para su hogar. Paula, gracias a la buena calidad de sus productos y a la buena atención que ofrece, ha podido captar muy buenos clientes, lo que le ha hecho generar muy buenas ventas. Algunos de sus clientes ya le han permitido que exporte sus productos a otros países y gracias a esto ha tenido muy buenos ingresos. Paula, con el ánimo de participar en una feria donde puede exhibir sus productos a un gran público, aspira a que un préstamo le brinde la posibilidad de acceder a la compra de materias primas como cuero, pinturas, entre otros, para elaborar una buena cantidad de productos para exhibir en una feria que participará.

Paula espera que en esta feria, si muestra buena cantidad de productos, pueda captar un buen número de clientes y de esta manera pueda seguir aumentando sus ingresos y seguir creciendo con su negocio. This loan is structured on Kiva as a bullet loan, which means a single payment is required at the end of the loan term. By Colombian law, Kiva's partner Interactuar is required to offer borrowers loans with a variable interest rate that fluctuates with the market rate. Because fixed monthly payments are applied first to interest and then to principal, Interactuar is unable to predict upfront what portion of each repayment would go towards the loan principal. This creates a challenge with Kiva's system, which doesn't allow for unpredictable principal payments, and can result in some Interactuar clients appearing falsely delinquent. To remedy this, the loan has an end-of-term repayment plan on Kiva, but the borrower will continue scheduled monthly repayments to Interactuar, who will then pass along the principal amount to Kiva lenders. This means that you may see repayments made on this loan throughout the repayment term, as opposed to receiving repayment in full at the end of the loan term.
