Deego Group's story

The Deego solidarity group was created on December 28, 2010. It is composed of 17 women, all from the same village and practicing the same profession.

Standing up at the right of the photo, and raising her hand is the group leader Satou, who is 55 years old. She is married and mother of one child.

With the loan, she will buy sheep to fatten and market later. She will also buy ground nut seeds, millet, and cowpeas for farming.

The receipts generating by her business allow her to improve her ability to meet her family's needs in terms of feeding her children and sending them to school.
