Mujeres Artesanas Group's story

Mujeres Artesanas is a group made up of 12 women in the city of Caacupe. Right now it is in its sixth cycle in the Enterprising Women program of the Fundación Paraguaya. Their objective is to work together and via their work help one another.

The president of the committee is Rocio, who is married and has a son. She works in floral artisanal crafts, making decorations and more. This job helps her to pay household expenses with her husband. Rocio and the other members are very satisfied with the financial support that is being offered to them by the Fundación Paraguaya and Kiva.

Rocio is asking for the loan to buy flowers in order to fill some orders she has.
