Sop Serigne Moustapha Lô Group's story

The Sop Serigne Moustapha Lô solidarity group was founded on December 27, 2010. The group is comprised of 13 women who all live in the same area.

Madame Aminata is 59 years old, married, and is a mother to seven children. She’s been selling fabric and other miscellaneous items for more than 20 years with good experience.

In the photo, she is standing at right wearing a pink boubou with a shawl around her shoulders.

She buys her products (fabric, “wax,” “voile,” shea butter, incense, soap, etc.) in two of the country’s big cities and she resells them in the city’s central market.

With her loan, she’d like to buy high-quality goods to increase her earnings.

She contributes to household expenses and helps her children with their education.
