A loan of $6,000 helped a member to buy sugar, butter, candy and other supplies.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

This group is from the city of Encarnacion. It came about through the contact of one of the members with the foundation. It is an old group and they have been working with the foundation since 2006, and they are in the 19th loan cycle. By working together they have been able to help each other and thus be able to improve their quality of life.

One of the members of the group is Elsa. She works making sweet and salty snacks, and tarts in general, and also her family has a dairy farm and they work selling milk.

She is a dynamic and hardworking woman, always putting forth the maximum effort in order to be able to give her family everything they need so they do not lack for any type of necessity.

Elsa went to the foundation and to Kiva in order to ask for a loan in order to buy cake and pastry supplies such as sugar, butter, candy and other necessities in order to make her products. She, just like the other members, is very happy with the Fundación Paraguaya.

In this group: Ida Blacida, Ana, María, Mirian, Catalina, Romina, Ida, Elsa, Rosa, Margarita, Lidia, Sunilda, Idelina, Yenny
