A loan of $5,200 helped a member to buy clothing of all kinds for later sale.

Mujeres Idoneas Group's story

This group came about through one of the members contacting the Foundation. They are currently in their 13th loan cycle, and have been working with the Foundation since 2007. They want to be able to continue working together, because the Foundation has really helped them with their projects, and also in improving their lives.

Zunilda is one of the members of the group. She sells clothing, and has a rented shop opposite her parents' house. She says that fortunately her business is going well, as she has a very good clientele. Her dream is to someday have her own shop, and that way not have to pay more rent.

Zunilda says that she applied for the loan to buy clothing, as she wants to be always well-stocked, so that she can offer greater variety to her customers. She is very grateful, because thanks to the help she has received, she has been able to improve her income and that of her family.
