A loan of $2,000 helped a member to buy additional stock to sell.

Working Together Group's story

This is 27-year-old Prudence from Mutare, Zimbabwe. She is single with one child who attends school. Prudence runs a retail business selling footwear and electrical gadgets. The business has been in operation for two years. She says the main challenge faced is creditors failing to pay on time. Prudence has requested a loan of $400 to buy more stock. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her to improve the payment pattern for paying school fees for her child. In the future, Prudence plans to be able to go to China to buy footwear and other electrical goods for resale.
