Mujeres Luchadoras Group's story

The "Mujeres Luchadoras" group is made up of 14 women from the city of Villa Elisa. They are parents, who are responsible for raising their children and providing them what they need to have a better future. They got together with the aim of working jointly, and through this work being able to get ahead and help one another.

Zulma is a group member, and she tells us that she has been selling drinks for some time, and that by means of her business she has been able to help her family. She says that she had started with a small business, but that thanks to her efforts and sacrifice, she has been able to grow, and be where she is today.

She is applying to Kiva and the Fundación Paraguaya for a loan, in order to buy assorted drinks such as wines, beers, energy drinks, soft drinks, and others. This will enable her to be well-stocked.
