Mujeres Trabajadoras Group's story

The "Mujeres Trabajadoras" group is made up of 18 women from the city of Caacupé. The group bears this name because the members are very hard-working and determined women, who work very hard to be able to give their families a better lifestyle. They are in their fifth loan cycle, and want to be able to reach the highest level of the program. Eliodora is one of the group members. She sells food products of all kinds, such as empanadas, sandwiches and other kinds of food. She says that she has been working at this for some time, so she already has a good clientele. She is applying for the loan in order to buy meat, condiments, baked goods, vegetables, and other ingredients. With these, she will be able to stock her business, and that way be able to continue working and growing as a small business person.
