A loan of $1,225 helped to buy ingredients for her dishes and also to buy beverages in general.

Virila's story

Virila is 50 years old. She is married to Nelson, who works for a business, and they have three children, two females and one male. They live in a well-known neighborhood in the city of Itá. She has had a small restaurant in her home for over two years.

She tells us that she used to work in the cafeteria at a well-known school in the city, but she left that job. Now she counts on the help of her daughter, who currently works with her at her business.

Virila is asking for this loan to buy beverages, such as soft drinks, beer, and juice, and also to buy beef, ham, cheese, baked goods, flour, and cassava. She needs these to make beef sandwiches, flour empanadas, cassava, and ham and cheese, as these are the dishes that sell best.

Virila tells us that she is very thankful for the opportunity she is receiving, as there were many who wouldn't help her, and this is something that is very important to her.
