A loan of $1,450 helped to buy drinks, food products, dairy products, and other basic household items.

Edgar's story

Edgar is from the city of Pilar. He is a very hard-working and enterprising person, and good with his payments. This is his second loan from Fundación Paraguaya.

Edgar owns a small grocery store, and says that he has been doing this for more than eight years. Thanks to the time he has been in this business, he already has a well-established clientele; which has helped him support his family, and give them everything they need for a better life without hardships.

He is applying for the loan to buy drinks, food products, dairy products, and other basic household items with which he will be able to stock his store and have merchandise to offer his customers. He is grateful to he Foundation and to Kiva for the opportunity he is receiving.
