A loan of $575 helped to buy more products and fruit in order to sell them in her store.

Victoria's story

Victoria is 45 years old, a widow, but has 3 children. They live together in her own house located in the district of Llochegua. Victoria is a working woman who suffered a lot through the irreparable loss of her dear husband who was her support and lifelong companion. Despite this, Victoria knew how to get ahead to bring up her children.

She works selling fruits and vegetables in the district of Llochegua. In the beginning she only sold vegetables, but her customers wanted more fruit so she began to sell this product. She is happy with her business which has been going very well. Further on she is thinking of buying land in the province of Huanta with the result that her children can study in a better school and live there. This is her second loan through MFP, and she promises to make her payments on time. With the 1,500 soles she will add more products to sell in her store.
