Basilia's story

Basilia, 55, is married to Felix, 60, and they have a daughter. They live in their own home located in Llochegua District.

Basilia is a woman with a lot of business experience since she has had a restaurant and a juice bar and both business have been the most heavily patronized in the area. She notes that in order to reach this point she had to make many sacrifices, work hard, have patience and provide good service to her customers. Basilia is pleased with her business because it is very profitable. Thanks to her success she has been able to give her child a good education. The only problem she has is the shortage of fresh vegetables in the area.

In the future, Basilia is thinking of opening a soda fountain. This is her first loan with MFP and she promises to make her payments on time. With the 1000 nuevos soles she will buy more merchandise for her restaurant.
