A loan of $2,200 helped a member to buy powdered soap and more bars of soap.

Gongo La Mboto One Group's story

Rehema, who is in her early 30s, is married with two children, one of whom goes to school while the other one is too young. She has been selling powdered soap and bar soap for two years now. She works from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm daily and is able to make a small monthly profit.

This will be her second loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loan to increase her business and has repaid her loan successfully. She wants a loan to increase her supply of powdered soap and to buy more bars of soap. Her dream is to one day be able to have a poultry business.

She will share this loan with her loan group "Gongo La Mboto One" which has a total of 15 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back their loans.
