A loan of $1,400 helped a member to buy a rickshaw body to improve rickshaw transport business.

Shameem's Group's story

Shameem is married and has 3 sons. Her eldest son is a driver while the other 2 remain at home. Due to financial constraints, Shameem couldn’t provide them education. She herself is a housewife and remains at home and does her household responsibilities. She is very efficient and tries her best to give comfort to her family.

She has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for her son, who is a rickshaw driver and wants to buy a new rickshaw body for his rickshaw. This will allow him to offer better transport services to his passengers and increase his income. He has been operating his business for many years and Shameem is confident that her son will get more success in his business after investing the loan.
