Catherine's story

Catherine, 34, is a hard-working, enterprising woman who is determined to get ahead. She lives with Wilter who works in the building industry and is the father of her three children. They live in their own house with her mother and father. Catherine sells sodas and soft drinks make from jungle fruit in delicious flavors. She has a refrigerator where she keeps her products cold for the customers. She attends to them in her home in a kind and cordial manner which gains their loyalty. for over three years she has been in business and she counts on the support of her daughter who helps serve customers. She enjoys the business because of the economic income it generates, and because of being able to work from home where he can care for her loving children. She believes her business is profitable and so is planning to continue. She also wants to go into the fast food business and sell broasted chicken. This will be her 10th loan through the MFP institution. She is very happy about receiving financial support since this makes her feel safe about advancing further in the business. The 1,000 PEN loan will be used to buy merchandise such as different flavors and brands of sodas, as well as fruit to make softdrinks.
