A loan of $750 helped purchase fertilizers for his crops.

Luis Edgardo's story

Luis is 42 years old and the father of two children. He currently lives together with them and his wife in a house located in a rural district, where the primary commercial activity is farming and raising livestock. The village where he lives is located just a few minutes from the district of Tambogrande, which belongs to the province of Piura. Because it is a rural area, they currently only have the public service of electricity.

From a young age, Luis has dedicated himself to working the land, a task he used to carry out at his parents’ side. This same farming experience led to, after the passing of years, him being able to have his own farmland; he has obtained 1.70 hectares where he has planted lemons and passion fruit. His wife managed to finish a degree in education, a profession that she now fulfills in the town where they live, helping Luis with the family’s needs. They have a very good relationship, and work together to meet their goals.

The fact that Luis’ fruit plants are in a phase where they need fertilizers is the reason he has decided to request a loan through Edpyme Alternativa for 2,000 Peruvian soles. He will invest these funds into the purchase of these, which will help him improve production and sell his crops at better prices.

The projects that Luis and his wife have laid out are being carried out in an opportune and efficient way. The trait that characterizes them both best is their responsible nature.
