A loan of $1,000 helped to buy two milk cows.

Reina De Los Angeles's story

Reina is 63 years old. She lives with her family in a community called Upala that belongs to the province of Alajuela. The area is known for its national parks, its extensive variety of plants and animals and for having a hot climate, which allows the production of certain fruits that grow better in this type of climate, such as mangos, melons, and others that do well in the area.

Reina has been raising cattle for 30 years. With this business she and her family have been able to get ahead and they have been able to provide for the household’s daily expenses.

Reina is requesting a loan of CRC 500,000 to buy two milk cows for producing cheese and other dairy products which she will sell in the community where she lives and also in nearby towns.

Reina is a member of Empresa de Crédito Colonia Puntarenas S.A. This is her third loan, which is why she is very grateful for the opportunities to access credit, which provide her the ablity to carry out her plans in life.
