A loan of $1,400 helped a member to invest in her footwear business.

Avanzando Hacia Un Futuro Group's story

Señora Nicolaza, who is 54 years old, has two children and lives in the IV zone of Colique in the district of Comas. She is a member of the group "Avanzando hacia un Futuro" (advancing toward a future), formed by eight people who elected her president of the board of directors of her group.

Since six months ago, she has had a business selling footwear, which she began on her own initiative with a little savings that she had and that she invested as working capital. It has gone very well for her, and she has as one of her plans for the future to be able to make her own footwear and have her own brand.

She will invest the loan that she receives in the purchase of school shoes and to increase her stock to serve and increase her clientele.

In this group: Nicolaza, Denisse Jhamyra, Heber Edinson, Catalina, Arzony Ray, Luz Patricia, Eduarda Alejandra, Paul Harry
