Busazi East E Group's story

The group leader of this small group is Aisha Abenoyo. She is currently in the business of selling farm produce and is requesting a loan to add to her business. Aisha is 25 years old and is married. She has 3 children ranging from age 4 to 10 and her children go to school. Each week, Aisha makes approximately UGX 15000 in profits and with the extra profits from her loan, she hopes to be able to educate her children. Aisha has taken a loan from BRAC Uganda before in the amount of UGX 400000 in order to add to her business and the loan was paid back on time.

Aisha is joined in her small group by Mariam B., Jowali F., Hawa N., and Ruth N.. Mariam B. has a business selling clothes and wants to venture into a shoe sales business. Jowali F. is currently operating a business selling produce and wants a loan to expand her business. Hawa N. operates a business trading produce and wants to boost business. Ruth N. is currently in the business of charcoal sales and is requesting a loan to construct a charcoal shade.
