A loan of $675 helped to buy merchandise (clothes) and also equipment for her food sales business.

Carmen Yazmin's story

Carmen Yazmin is a single mother and has a young daughter. She is currently living in her parents' home. On weekends, Carmen sells used and new clothing outside her home. During the week, she works in a cross-border assembly plant in the production field.

Carmen is requesting this loan to invest in buying a wider range of merchandise. She would also like to buy equipment for her food sales business. She does not have the money she needs to make this investment which will make more income for her family, allow her to help her parents with the family expenses, and provide her daughter with what she needs to enjoy a better future.

Carmen plans to repay her loan with the profits that she makes from her clothes sales business.
