Taku Liguey Group's story

The Taku Liguey solidarity group was created on December 21, 2009. It is made up of six women from the same town. Their business activities include commerce and animal fattening.

The head of the group is standing on the right-hand side of the photograph. She is 38 years old. She is married and mother of six children. She also takes care of her sister and her two nephews.

With the loan, she will buy four ewes as well as various foodstuffs (sugar, rice, soap). Her revenue allows her to help her husband cover the family's needs. She also wants to increase her savings at the "banc villageois".

The group member, Ndéye, is not in the photograph.
