Soppante Group's story

The solidarity group Soppanté was created on December 28, 2010. It is made up of of twenty women from two hamlets and who have been working together for a long time with help from several NGOs. Their main activities are retail and animal breeding.

Madame Colle is 25 years old, and is the leader of the group. She is married and has four children. For more than two years, she has worked as a retailer selling vegetables. In the photo, she is standing at the far right, wearing white with an orange skirt, and with her arms crossed. The loan will allow her to increase the quantity and quality of the vegetables, to attract more clients and make more profit. Madame Colle helps her husband in meeting the family's various expenses.
