Africa One Group's story

Yona, who is in his mid-20s, is married with one small child. He has been a wood cutter for five years now. He works from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily and is able to make a good monthly profit.

This will be his first loan from Tujijenge Tanzania, which he wants to use for buying more wood and cutting more pieces to sell.

His dream is to one day be able to start another business of buying and selling rice.

He will share this loan with his loan group "Africa One", which has a total of fifteen members who will hold each other accountable for paying back their loans.
