A loan of $750 helped to buy fertilizers to keep his plants in good condition and to buy construction materials to improve his house.

Manuel Jose's story

As the years have passed Manuel, age 40, has demonstrated himself to be a good father. He lives with his wife and their three minor children. They have their own house, which was built from the foundation of his work. The house is in the rural settlement of Santa Rosa de Yaranche in the Tambogrande district, which belongs to the Piura province. It is approximately three hours from the Lampayeque department.

Manuel lives in an area where the primary business activities are farming and livestock. These activities are not unusual for him. He has 2.5 hectares of farmland where he continually plants his products according to the season. His land is just a few meters from his home. Therefore, it is easy to do the corresponding maintenance. After having harvested his products, they are offered and sold at the markets in the area where he lives. Or, in any case they will be taken to other wholesale markets.

His wife helps with the support of the household by selling poultry.

Manuel knows that it is time to make his lemon plants produce. That is why he is requesting a loan for 2,000 soles from Edpyme Alternativa. He will buy fertilizers, which will allow him to maintain said plants in good condition. He wishes to use another part of the loan to buy construction materials to improve his house.

Manuel is a man who is known for being a good father, a good husband, and a good neighbor. He has won the affection and esteem of them all.
