A loan of $375 helped to buy merchandise to restock her store.

Nely's story

Nely is 33 years old and a single mother with two children. They live together in their own home in the District of Pichari. Nely is a young woman who has endured many difficulties since she was girl. Her father abandoned her when she was seven years old. Nely was raised by her mother, who provided her with an education. Now she spends her time selling at her grocery store.

Nely expresses her thanks to her uncle for his support. He knew that his niece could be something better, so he gave her a small amount of capital so that she could start her business. This is how Nely opened her own grocery store. She began in a rented space, but she eventually was able to build her own shop where her business is now located.

Nelly is pleased that her business generates good income if she is willing to make sacrifices, be friendly, and sell products at a fair price. In the future, Nelly plans to open a clothing store because she sees this as a good business opportunity. This is her second loan with MFP and she promises to submit her payments. Nely is pleased with her Communal Bank because the members are supportive and unified. Her loan of 1000 PEN will be invested in additional merchandise.
