Bokk Jom Group's story

Bokk Jom solidarity group was formed on December 28, 2010. It consists of 17 women from the same locale who united out of affinity, friendship and neighborhood ties. They are in business with small shops in sewing, breeding and farming.

Penda (standing on the right of the photo) is responsible for the group. She is 30 years old. She is married and mother to 4 children.

She does sewing and breeding. She has been managing these businesses for a long time.

Her profits will allow her to support her husband in taking care of the family's needs and to strengthen her savings in the "Banc Villageois."
