A loan of $1,000 helped to buy carrots, vinegar, onions, cauliflower, jalapeños, beets, cabbage, etc.

Alcides's story

33-year-old Alcides lives together with his family (his 42-year-old wife and a 16-year-old nephew who is in school). His business is buying and selling a variety of spices. He sells vinegar-based food products: cauliflower, cabbage, beets, onion, etc. which he prepares with a lot of patience and then sells in stores and markets. He sells his spices as an itinerant vendor in different nearby areas. He has been in this business for three years and his results have been very favorable as they have allowed him to provide his household with their daily bread. Alcides is very hard-working and responsible. Many people buy his products as he offers good quality, hygiene and good prices. He has thought a lot about how to grow his business and has reached the conclusion that the best thing would be to invest in buying the supplies that he needs wholesale. This will enable him to increase his sales capacity and deal with greater demand. He is requesting this loan from INTEGRAL so that he can carry out his plan of investing in his business, buying the supplies he needs such as carrots, vinegar, onions, cauliflower, jalapeños, beets, cabbage, etc. He trusts in God and believes that, through his work, he will obtain good results which will enable him to provide his family with better opportunities in life.
